Netherlands and Georgia deposit their instrument of ratification for the MLI

Twentythree jurisdictions have deposited their instruments.

The Kingdom of the Netherlands has deposited its instrument of acceptance and Georgia has deposited its instrument of ratification for the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (multilateral convention or MLI) with the OECD’s Secretary-General, Angel Gurría, underlining their strong commitments to prevent the abuse of tax treaties and base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) by multinational enterprises.  With its instrument of acceptance, the Kingdom of the Netherlands covers Curaçao and the (European and Caribbean parts of) the Netherlands.
